When “Khona”, the hit track from South Africa’s Mafikizolo and Senegal’s Uhuru, took over the Nigerian music space, and won our hearts, like no other song has, we knew it was just a matter of time before someone decides to get creative with it. Step up, Samklef. The producer and singer took his sweet time, hit the studio, and recreated some freestyling vocal for the Khona beat. He covered it and it’s your turn to do the listen.
