[FUNNY NEWS] - A man tried to rob a gun store with a baseball bat. It did not end well.

It's like trying to rob a baseball bat shop with a toothpick. (image via KATU)
A 22-year-old Beaverton, OR, man named Derrick Mosley made a miscalculation last week when he tried to rob Discount Gun Sales armed with a baseball bat. Mosley managed to break a display case, but the owner of the store, shockingly enough, had a gun that he knew how to use.
Pretty soon the owner had Mosley disarmed of his baseball bat and a small knife, and he held Mosley at gunpoint until police arrived. Sure, it seems silly to try to rob a gun store with a baseball bat, but if Mosley had a gun to rob gun stores with, he wouldn't be robbing a gun store, now would he? It kind of makes you wonder how anyone ever gets a gun to begin with.
Mosley was arrested for robbery and, in a cruelly ironic twist, his brief illegal possession of a firearm.
